  Intimidating, followed me around multiple times while I was violating no traffic laws, I can't see why this department needed to be so intimidating in a town where nothing ever happens. When pulled over which happened a lot, some for actual traffic violations....MOST for just existing and being out at night, which isn't illegal, I felt like I was being followed around a lot....All that being said not every officer I dealt with was bad and some of them really were great guys but I recommend extreme caution when dealing with police in Sullivan, IL

  Stay away from the Sullivan Police. I have lived next door, to the Sullivan, Illinois 61951 Police Department, for 15 years, and each Officer is a CROOK, as far as I know. Rude, disrespectful and LIARS :-(
